Can someone please tell me why the US Post Office is still delivering 6 days a week??
It seems very impractical to be delivering 6 days a week, burning all that fuel on route vehicles and energy to keep offices open. I say Mon, Wed, and Fri delivery would be plenty. A vending machine for stamps will do on the days when a live clerk or post master isnt there. Think of the savings in salary too…..
I agree, I never thought of it like that, but most of the time my mailbox has one or two pieces in it…
